A saddle-stitched booklet is a type of booklet binding where folded sheets of paper are stacked together and stapled along the fold line, usually at the center of the booklet. The name “saddle-stitched” comes from the method of positioning the booklet over a saddle-like apparatus during the stapling process.

Saddle-stitched books are a popular and cost-effective type of booklets, brochures, catalogs, and magazines with a relatively low page count. It provides a clean and professional finish while allowing the booklet to lay flat when opened, making it easy for readers to view the content. However, saddle-stitched booklets may not be suitable for very thick or heavy documents, as the staples may not securely hold the pages together.
